Job Readiness Program

Promoting self-sufficiency through financial and occupational empowerment

Free job support services for immigrants and refugees in Hamilton county

Job Readiness

In our goal to help immigrants and refugees reach self-sufficiency, we are determined to teach how to navigate and succeed in the American workforce. With the help of volunteers, we cover topics such as applications, interviews, studying, dress attire, and pinpointing unique and valuable skills in each client. In every step, we strive to create a new level of confidence and independence.

Referrals

To best prepare our clients, we meet with employers to hear their needs and requirements so that we can teach our clients to match their description.

Resumes and Application

Our volunteers provide help with creating and refining resumes when clients begin their job search. They teach clients the purpose and process of resumes so that they can confidently do it independently in the future. Their assistance includes wording, format, and finding what experience to include. Volunteers also help explain, complete, and review job applications.

Interviews

Volunteers help clients get ready for job interviews by preparing possible interview questions and simulating a professional interview environment. This helps clients feel prepared, be prepared, and gain confidence in their worth and skills.

Dress Attire

We provide clients with the clothing and any specific items they need as they advance in the hiring process.

Volunteer to Teach!

Job Readiness

We welcome volunteers to join us in assisting immigrants and refugees navigate the processes for employment. When we build confidence and success in the work force, it creates economic security which leads to help provide safe housing, nutritious food, and improved academic outcomes.
